Even my fathers 2000 Mercedes S430 has been running on 87 with no engine problems and he is at 99,000 Miles. I don't car if my Audi loses 7 hp because I use 87 which is fast enough anyway.
Correct you can't with Turbo engines but mine is just a 2.8L Quattro.
From what I see is that a lot of people now drive the popular Audi A4 1.8T and all I have to say is that I feel sorry for them. Plus don't Turbo's have to be replaced after a while?
