...weight-lifting. Help!? Long story put short, I'm 29 and train in mixed martial arts 7 days a week and have for many years. I've noticed that the more I gravitated toward MMA training the more my interest in weightlifting faded. That said, I've clearly atrophied a fairly tremendous amount over the past year or two, and I'm trying to find what "the right balance" looks like so I can continue focusing a majority of my time on MMA training without turning into a scrawny weakling. Right now, I'm at 6'0 215 lbs (not so much muscle anymore) and trying to get down to 190 lbs at 8-9% body fat.

I've started lifting weights for 30m of 2-3x a week (intense but short workout, asI don't have any more time in the day to invest in these). Seeing some gains on the bench-press, etc, but my question is as follows: Is 2-3 days a week of weight lifting for 30m sufficient to become fit/strong when combined with the 7x MMA routine? Note, the MMA routine is 60-90m every day, but the caveat is, it's not as strenuous on the muscles and thus in itself exhausts you without adding a great degree of strength/muscle endurance.

Kinda lost here.... what do you think?
