Subaru and other AWD vehicles?

We will be in the market soon for another vehicle. It will need to be an AWD or 4 wheel drive since we live in the mountains and it snows quite a bit in the winter. We have been snowed in several times and I can't stand it! We would probably be buying used (about 2-3 years old) and would want it to last at least 5-6 additional years after we buy it.

We already have an SUV and would probably like a car. The Subaru is the only kind of traditional car (not SUV or truck) I know of with AWD. Are there others? And is Subaru a good car?

I'm not sure about other cars I think some other make has it but I'm not sure who...I have owned 2 subaru's and they have both been great cars!! It snows where I live to and when other people are getting stuck, I'm laughing and going on to my destination!! Good luck but if you want a good car in the snow and one that will last over 150,000 miles go with a subaru.

Subaru's reliability is up there with Honda and Toyota.

Subaru and Audi have best AWD in cars.

But Subaru is much cheaper and better in reliability.
