I have jl 500/1 amp and two jl w3v3's-2ohm. first off, is this essentially, the "perfect" spec for good sound?
Secondly, everything was installed similar to this diagram http://www.geocities.com/diekronz/untitled.bmp - excuse the 1st grade drawing.
the problem: When I turn the music up, it pops (on the bass notes). The speakers are new and so is the amp. The speakers were replaced and new speakers were put in cause originally the guy who installed it thought it was bad speakers... we'll, that didn't help at all. they still pop on "semi-high" bass notes.
Is the configuration done incorrectly? Should I have gotten 4ohm instead? should i have them hooked up in series?
There are two positive and negative channels on the amp. Should i hook them up like the diagram above or link both subs wirings to one positive/negative channel?
