Stories about people, preferably teenagers, with problems (mental or physical), where music helps them fit into society. (I'm already considering "The Soloist" - Steve Lopez)
It's for a city organization that has one event a year, involving a pre-chosen book, high school students and their parents, Barnes & Noble and an expense-paid visit by the author.
These are the books we've done previously:
1. "Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace. . . One School at a Time"
2. "The Kids From Nowhere: The Story Behind the Arctic Educational Miracle"
3. "They Poured Fire on Us From the Sky - The True Story of Three Lost Boys from Sudan "
