I have read all of Karin Slaughter's books and really enjoyed them. I have also read some of James Patterson's as well. Just looking for arthurs who may be similar and are definitely worth a read. Thanks all, and Happy Thanksgiving!
There are many authors but here are my favourites:
Mark Gimenze - He writes similarly to John Grisham - Lawyer stuff.
Michael Connelly - He has many books and also has a recurring main character like Alex Cross. Connelly's version is called Harry Bosch.
Phillip Kerr - I found his book by accident and loved them. His crime settings were in 1930s-1950s Germany and there are some (ficticious) references to Nazis. I like his recurring character - Bernie Gunther. That guy is witty and sarcastic. The murderers and motivations for the murders are also quite unexpected. He has a few stand alone books as well but are also related to WWII Germany
