I haven't seen Edward Scissorhands yet, but I've heard it's his best.

Of what I've seen, seeing as The Nightmare Before Christmas is DIRECTED by Henry Selick, I'd say his best is Sleepy Hollow.
Kick *** B - Yes, Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory were awful.

Sweeney Todd was good though. But, they don't hold a candle to TNBC or Sleepy Hollow.

1. you're right - EDWARD SCISSORHANDS. you don't understand how amazing it is until you've seen it :)
2. SWEENEY TODD - johnny depp had a suprisingly beautiful tone to his voice - it matched helena's perfectly! :) the whole film was generally a lot better than i thought it would be.
3. SLEEPY HOLLOW - you've seen it. you know it's just awesome!

i agree with you on alice and charlie - they've got nothing on the originals!

Definitely gotta be Beetlejuice easily the best film, all his latest films are just re-hashes of old classics, sweeny todd, charlie and the chocolate factory and alice in wonderland.
Plus Michael Keaton as beetlejuice is his best role ever

"Edward Scissorhands" was by far his best movie ever !

Edwards Scissorhands!

Hands down, that's his best film. :3 Ot Nightmare Before Christmas. It may have been directed by Henry, but it was co-written by Burton.

But I watched Edward Scissorhands when I was little and fell in love with the movie. Still can't watch it without crying and I'm almost 20. X3
