Suv stolen from supermarket lot?

My friend just called me and told me that she just got her Chevrolet Tahoe SUV stolen from Supermarket parking lot; and they and they have a video of the seen, but won't let her see it, which she made a police report, Etc. What next must she do, should she now file a civil lawsuit against supermarket, get an attorney as soon as possible or what? This just took place this morning at 11:03am. Please let me know your best suggest, and I'll pass it on to her today! Thanks alot.
Sorry, that's Superior Supermarket Parking Lot.
 
i don't think you can sue the store for having your car stolen in parking lot, it's not their responsibility. call the police, then the insurance. good luck.
