Suzuki grand Vitara broken bonnet pull what now.?

The cable for my bonnet release has broken. Does anyone know how to get the bonnet open to repair the broken cable. Can the catch be accessed by any other means. The car is 2005 the last of the old model. Thanks.
 
Thru the grill or perhaps you can grab the end of the broke cabel with some pliers...
get a flashlight and look up into the latch mechanism to see where the pull cable
mounts and attempt to trip it in the release direction (towards the sheath)..
 
Look through the radiator grille up towards the bonnet lock, you may be able to see the operating lever that the cable fits into. Try to push it with a long screwdriver to open the bonnet.
