So hear is what i am thinking, as project for near future, i am going to plan to take a Kingquad 300(250) prefferably a more up to date model(2004) as i hear you can equip them with disc brakes, and fully restoring/up-to-dating it. I was thinking of getting my hands on an atv that uses a big motor and a 5 speed, maybe even a Kawasaki 650 twin(anybody know of one with a 5 speed?) for cheap, turning that little kingquad into a brutal monster. I would probably even want to use the 4x4 system with what ever other atv i baught for motor. So basically, the end result would be something like the bet atv the world had ever seen;) it would be fast and powerful as hell, as the kingquad 300/250 is a very small bike, the motor would need to be able to power wheelie, thus the prarie or bruteforce for cheap perhaps? Disc brakes is something i would deffinetly be doing, any ideas on the year restrictions for disc brakes on a little kingquad? Would aim for up to date handle bar set up as well(throttle system, light/starting selection from doner bike), and a winch. Anyway, if there is any tips or suggestions you help is appreciated.
