I am 28 weeks pregnant and am changing doctors because I have recently entered into a high-risk status that my doctor is not comfortable with. However, I have been making payments towards the delivery to my current obgyn. I want to know how to handle to transfer of billing or how this is typically handles. Obviously, I don't want to be out for a delivery that hasn't happened yet.
i think they will calculate how much you would owe them for the amount of visits you have had ...take that away from what you paid and reimburse you with whats left that way you can give it to your new doctor..
