I enjoy listening to music on my computer and have an extensive playlist. Someone told me that I can buy a cord to plug from the back of my computer to the back of my receiver. I found it at Radio shack and hooked it up so I can hear music through my bookshelf speakers. I also have my receiver linked so my TV can be heard through my speakers....
Heres the problem.. I have my TV hooked up through an AV outputs that say "TV" on the back of my receiver going to the TV AV outputs which work fine..
I use the "CD" outputs to hookup the link to my computer. but when I plug it in, I hear a loud humming sound. I can hear the music in the background but its not loud. But if I unplug my hookups to the TV it would stop and I can hear it fine. It seems that I cant have them plugged in at the same time because if I do, I get the loud humming sound... can anyone tell me why and what I can do? I know it's a good one..
Thanks
