t-mobile email for Samsung Behold?

I have T-Mobile's Samsung Behold T919 phone. I DO NOT have internet access. I was wandering if it would cost me anything to check my emails. Something keeps popping up ("sending and receiving rates" or something along those lines) whenever I try to read my emails. Is it free or no?
 
Maybe they charge u that's why that pops up. I don't get that on my phone and I check my e-mail on my phone and don't get charged. Check if it's included on your plan.
