so i live in germany, and i recently got a t mobile pulse. its a nice phone, but i just cant figure out how to put music on it.
the phone came with a small cd, but i have a macbook and i cannot use this cd in my computer, so i have no idea how to sync it with my mac (if i even can)
does anyone have any ideas? thank you

The Pulse is an Android phone. Since Android is an open system, you have far more choices as to what you want to use for storage and syncing.

First of all, there's no syncing software for Android phones like iTunes. The phone also uses a microSD card for media storage and other things. I'll assume the phone came with one, and you can replace it with a bigger one any time (the specs say up to 16 GB, but I'd bet it will work with the new 32 GB cards as well).

Now, you should be able to add all the music you want to the SD card by just plugging the phone into the USB port on your Mac. You should see a notification on the phone, and you'll have to press it and follow the prompts to get the phone and the media card mounted (connected) to your Mac.

Once you do this, you should be able to just drag and drop all your music files to the phone. Look at the directories on the card after you connect. If you don't see a folder called "Music", create one and copy all your music files into that folder. You can divide them into subfolders by type, and you can even drop in standard (m3u) playlists. The phone's music app should automatically find the files and play them when you want.

Make sure you disconnect the media card from the computer properly before unplugging the phone from the USB port. Press the notification message on the phone again and it will disconnect properly.
