T-Mobile Shadow?

Im looking to get a new phone from T-mobile and i was looking at either the T-mobile shadow or the blackberry pearl. Im leaning more toward the shadow as aesthetically it appeals to me more, but I have heard that the battery life is HORRENDOUS on the shadow. Having to charge it more than once a day dies not seem appealing to me.

so does anyone have the shadow and if so, how is your experience with the battery life been?

*and for those that have blackberry pearls, how is it?
 
My friend has a Shadow, she uses it moderately and she has to charge it about every 3-4 days.
 
The HTC shadow is touchscreen and works similair to an iPhone.
But once again, just like the iPhone, it uses too much battery. ( but lots of great features)

The pearl has a more affordable price on it, and has a nice scrolling ball! Great feel on the keypad too!!!

I would go for the Pearl though, but that's just me.
