MY friend plans to trade phones with me and how can he unlock the phone?
will the AT&T sim card work on it? i only want textmessages and calls

Yes after Unlock Your SIDEKICK 3,You can use any GSM Network Sim card in the Phone,You can get the Network Unlock code from the site
Ihav.net/sidekick-3/rs1wp9/ and Unlock the SIDEKICK 3 from Network LOCK,Then use AT&*T ,It's GSM network Sim card.Also for the Text and Calls only needed mean call the service provider and get that Plan or service only.
