Taking a vacation to save your marriage?

My marriage has been having issues lately. but we are trying to work things through. i was thinking of planning a little mini vacation for just me and him. to try to rekindle our romance, and remember why we fell in love and just have some time to ourselves. do you think that's a good idea? is taking a vacation a good way to save a marriage. ?
 
Hey, you got nothing to lose but you really gotta get to the root of those issues because in my opinion this "mini vacation" is just putting a band-aid over a wound.
