Ok so im giving away my ipod shuffle and i want to take off all of the songs from it without deleting the actual songs how do i do that?

You can go to your library...
highlight one song or click on one song
then press ctrl A so everything is highlighted
then either right click or press delete on the keyboard

Well some how all of my songs got earsed on my ipod just mess around with itunes and sync it.

i find the easiest way is to plug it in wait until it is detected bvy the computer find what drive it is on my computer then right click on it and click format and format it it clears everything

Ok well do u see the checks that are next to the songs?

Just check off all of the check marks next to your songs &&

then connect your Ipod to the computer && it wont transfer

any of the songs so it will result into no songs being

transferred

&& if that doesnt work you should visit the apple site:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/

reset the ipod. It will wipe all the songs off but leave them on your itunes. I think you do this by reseting it to factory settings.

select all songs then click deleate.
or else just click on "edit" songs...

but im guessing thell still deleate anyways.
