Joke between friends - stuffed animal at wal-mart - said to my friend (whom I want to be more than friend) 'give'm a kiss' - girl's like 'no way it could have HERPES!' - bought her a teddy bear for christmas (washed it) - she has a boyfriend (sad)- gonna' leave it where she can find it with a note on it that says "I'm clean"...
Also want to write a letter of humble, apologetic, COMEDIC intent - I want her to get a good laugh out of it (boyfriend should probably get a chuckle too).
NEED IDEAS, OPINIONS, ETC. like...
"... if your boyfriend is offended by the gift, please assure him it won't keep giving. <Scratch out and write in margin: "I meant I <underline> won't keep giving...>
or something to do with "put it on before you put it in..."
or "...hope your boyfriend isn't SORE about the teddy bear..."
Get the idea? Needs to be funny and related to the joke - A TEDDY BEAR THAT HAS (DOESN'T HAVE) HERPES!
Also can't be too terribly derogatory. I hesitate at 'put it on before you put it in.' As that may be construed as questioning their personal relationship, It is possible that someone could get offended. Either her or the boyfriend. REALY don't want to be offensive. I just want to make her laugh (and think of me).
