Telus $200 limit, 1 year term ... ?

I ordered a phone off the Telus website, but when I did a credit check it said that I had to make a deposit or I could get a $200 limit with a 1 year term but I am confused what they mean when they say a $200 limit ... do I still keep my choice of a plan?
