With Telus, are you able to use 'contract phones' for Pay&Talk?... Like if I buy a non-Pay&Talk phone like the 'LG Shine' for example, am I able to activate it as a Pay&Talk, or no?... I noticed the nicest Pay&Talk phone with Telus right now was the LG 8600, and was curious if you only could buy/use the phones on the Pay&Talk page for Pay&Talk... Thanks!

yes. if you want to activate an LG Shine on a pay and talk account, it can be done, but its pricey!
you're looking at buying the phone at full price, which is $400, and getting a pay and talk starter kit, which is another $50, and that gives you a $40 credit for minutes to start you off.

and if you already have another telus phone that does not have an active line on it, you can also activate it on pay &talk through the same process: just buy a starter kit.
provided that the phone itself was not reported stolen, it will work.
