Telus or Fido for iPhone?

Hey guys,
I'm planning to buy an iphone 3GS soon. I did some research on Fido and Telus plans and they seem convergent with some variation. So, which one shall I pick? and why? also, would it be possible to keep the same number from my current Fido plan had I decided to go with Telus?

Choosing a Carrier is a personal choice so it's up to you to decide. You can take your number with you if you change from Fido. It's called 'porting your number'.
