TELUS texing in the US, does it cost more!?

I am going on a roadtrip for 10 days in the US and I am with telus, i have unlimited texting BUT will it charge me more if I'm sending them here (CANADA) from there? Or will I even be able to send them because I know that telus is not in the states?
