Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes.....?

I'm a Type 1 Diabetic and I forgot about last year's walk, so this year I'd really like to participate in the Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes. Can anyone tell me how it works? Do you need a team? How many people? Do we donate money? If so, when, and where? Please help, tell me any details that you can about it! :)
