I was wondering how everyone else's dinner came out? Did you have help or did you cook yourself? What did you have? Did you have any disasters or major triumphs?
My dinner came out much better than I expected. I cooked everything myself, so I was worried with all that food that something had to come out wrong. But luckily, it was fine.
We had turkey, gravy, herb stuffing, cranberries, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes with garlic sour cream, corn on the cob, peas, broccoli, candied carrots, and apple strudel with vanilla ice cream.
When I took the turkey out of the oven, I thought it looked a little dry. But I let it sit for 15 minutes and it was just right! There was no major disasters. The only small criticism (that only I seemed to notice) was that I thought the herb stuffing was a little bit too strong.
My major triumph was definitely the gravy. It was the best gravy that I have ever had! I don't know why it came out so good this time, I guess the turkey drippings were just perfect.
So Thanksgiving chefs, tell me about your dinner! :)

I enjoy baking a Turkey. Always comes out moist and delicious - I just use a trick my mom taught me. If you want to know, just e-mail me. My mashed potatoes were awesome and my gravy was perfect as well. A great meal, thanks for asking. I'm glad your's came out so well too! Happy Thanksgiving!
