I know there are many cases when people get attacked by wild cats, and what some of the people do is just plain stupid... But videos like the ones below just never seize to amaze me...

Big cat mauls the mullet.

On a totally off topic note... yes it's fake... yes its men in sparkly underwear... but damn it's athletic. For guys that big to continually be throwing each other is a massive work load. Chances for getting injured are sky high. I still think it's silly as can be... but in that sense it's impressive.

I was so waiting for that to end badly... I was hoping the key of that song in the soundtrack would trigger some deep primal drive in the lion to absolutely maul, limb from limb those two fashionistas.

For a second there I thought the old bearded fella who came down the hill with the lion was Konrad Lorenz! But upon closer inspection it actually turned out to be George Adamson! Who while slightly less scientific was quite a character! Someone who could only have come out of the Raj!

In a video i tried to post but it didn't work, a rhino comes along to inspect two Cheetahs wildebeast kill. The Cheetahs backed down but the rhino is not a meat eater. All he did was sniff it and backed away so the cheetahs went back to eating.

I remember that documentary. It was quite controversial at the time because it portrayed the hardships lions must survive in the dry season in very graphic detail. The lions survive in the end.

Watching a pride of lions interact is very eye openeing. You start seeing them as more than just savage beasts.
On a sad note, i loved Toto the little CHeetah kitten, i wanted to take him home. I cried when he disappeared. Its a shame Honey died, she was such a good mom to her cubs. Her cubs, Honeys boys were shown on Big Cat Live.
Shame what happened to Half Tail the leopard. Went off the reserve and took to livestock raiding and was killed by Masai tribesmen.

These cheetahs were recently released into the wild. This is their first kill. They seem to be learning quickly. Cheetahs don't seem to mind people at all.
