Yeah, that was me, and I know a guy who goes to the other BJJ school there. Sounds alright too.

Dunno if I should say this one, but anyway. When I was about 4 or 5, I strangled my brother for a few seconds, that or I stood there while someone else did it. Can't totally remember, it was 14 or 15 years ago. But either way, even to this day I still feel bad about that one.
Oh yeah, and once when I was talking to my cousin and this kid who I used to live next door to, I told them to come closer so I could tell them a secret. Then when they got close enough I grabbed their heads and bashed them together to see how much it would hurt. Looks like it hurts quite a bit. But I didn't feel bad about it at all. The kid next door was a little knob, and i'm not sure but I think my cousin in question (or possibly his younger brother) might have stolen some money off me.

I am a cheap man. I always buy cheap gear. everything shorts, gloves, headgear.ect bags, bag stand, weights included i've spend less than $500.
my game systems are used, my TV was 80 bucks and my pc was less than 200. i'm very much a cheapskate, but i also tend to have a nose for good sales.

the way i see it, is as long as you aren't a tightfisted scrooge with friends and family (e.g. letting them buy you food and drink with the excuse that you're skint then spending that 50 quid in your pocket in an arcade or something) then there's no problem in being a little bit thrifty
