I have a confession...I'm slightly worried about what is going to happen at work tomorrow.
I told the truth about why I wouldn't be in, I'm just wondering whether they actually believed it or not.

my other half lives in the middle of a farm out in the middle of nowhere. I was with him, my work stuff was at my parents, and the car broke down.

Even as I was saying it it felt like it was a bit far fetched.
But I agree, if it actually does happen you wouldn't really make it up. If I'd have been skiving I'd have pretended to be ill, since we get full wages for sick pay.
