Okay, so our oven got fire last week, and a fire extinguisher was handy, which really helped me to take control of the fire. But after every thing was over their was a lot of mass, and I called poison control center because the powder was in my mouth. When I called them, the first question was that; "It was a powder one or gas one"?
After that's all over I bought another powder one from the store, because one has to be at home always for safety! I did ask for help in store, but got the idea that no one had a clue about the difference between both, and even worse they did not even had a gas one available. I tried to find answers on google but was unable to.
So please some one tell me what is the difference and which one is better, because I can still return the one I bought (which could be used for 3 purposes) , and get a gas one if its better?

P.S. The powder one will make a lot of mass to be cleaned (God can't think of it)
