...equation!? The relationship between interest rates as a percent (X) [i.e. use 7, not .07] and housing starts (Y) is given by the linear equation Y=4094-269X.
a) What will be the number of housing starts if the interest rate is 8.25%?
b) At what interest rate will there be no permits for housing starts?
c) What happens to housing starts as interest fall?
d) For what interest rate will the maximum number of housing starts be achieved?
a) Y=4094-269(8.25%)=1874.75
b) 0=4094-269X=15%
c)
d)
Did i do a and b correct....and i need help with c and d thnx...
