For years I have studied Judaism although I was born and raised Catholic, I found a lot of interest in Judaism. I liked Judaism so much that I was not that far from converting to becoming Jewish, but I didn't. Now I see a lot of rave about Islam and I was just wondering what are some common beliefs held by Jews and Muslims?

"Now I see a lot of rave about Islam " Where do you see this? Personally i see alot of explosions from Islam. Maybe we are watching different programs on tv....
Islam is really one person: Mohammad the great false prophet. He was a murdering thief of the 7th century. He formed a band of thugs to ravish the caravans of trade journeying through the Mid-East and later forcibly converted a vast region from north Africa into Asia to his beliefs.
Islam is really one book: Koran. This book of gibberish was assembled by many people who said, "Mohammad said this..." and "Mohammad said that..." If two or more people agreed, it was added. He never wrote anything, because he was illiterate. The book borrows apostles, prophets, and events from both the New and Old Testaments. Yet the god in the book is not YHVH or Adoniah or Elohim; it is an Allah, which was the moongod protector of the 360 god pantheon of the Bedouine monks, housed in the Kaaba. Mohammad kept his family deity Allah, destroyed all the other idol gods and mixed it with Judeo-Christian history.
The practices: The entire religion would be considered a foolish joke if not so many people followed it. Why a joke? Because it borrows a few laws from the Torah...such as not eating pork, and abandons the rest. It borrows Jewish patriarchs and then speaks evil of Jews. And then the religion considers the Bible corrupt, even as it uses it and the persons within it for foundation.
In short, you should do your homework first before buying into Islam's utter nonsense.

The only reason Islam has anything remotely to do with Judaism or Christianity for that matter is their so called pedophile prophet plagiarized both religions to attempt to win converts, his utter failure to do so is what made him go ape-%#&% violent and create the most violent and bigoted religion on the planet...

Brother, I suggest to visit the site i am posting, that is a very good site that discuss about similarities between majors religions Islam,Christian,Jews etc with authentic quotes from scirptures and not just from byown.
