Yes! I feel exactly the same. The book was okay, but I thought it was too real. That may sound strange, but to be the film looks more romanticised, whereas in the book it's more raw (like the way it goes into detail about the sex etc). I figured it was just because I'm a fairy-tale-ist, I always like the romance to be magical, like it is in a fairy tale. However the book was really good, the trailer for the film looks way better.

I'm more interested in the movie. I feel its a very visual idea and will work well.
I think the book was well written, and had a great plot to it but its just not my kind of book. I hope the movie does well.
