The economy in already down the tube and though illegal immigration is a problem, to take an opportunity to spread hateful thinking does not speak of the true American values, for after all this country is was founded by immigrants and continue to be a country of immigrants.
Were the 12 million people working undocumented in this country be deported, do you seriously think that that would improve our economy?
Even if we don't agree with illegal immigration we can't deny they are a contributing factor to the economy and we have created an inter-dependence with them, they are our neighbors, our co-workers, and our fellow human beings in search of a better life.
Instead of trying to get rid of them, we should find ways on how to establish better ways of communication, we should not look at one another as enemies, but as citizens of the same country and find common ground for the improvement of our beloved America.
To blame one group of people for the ills of our society is wrong, it's always been wrong and instead of blaming one another we should begin a dialogue focused on common goals, keeping in mind that at the top of every discussion list should the well being and the security of this land of ours.
