The vampire book trend....?

Since the Twilight series and movies have been out, it had created a huge trend in books for writers to write books about Vampires, and old Vampire novels to be republished; all, honestly, riding on Twilight's coatails; but why do you think there wasnt a Wizard/Magic craze since Harry Potter, which is on a much larger scale then Twilight.

I don't think there was a wizard/magic craze because who honestly can write about it better than JK Rowling??
People read Twilight and said I could do it better, and a bunch of writers have!
This is not the first time Vampires are a craze and won't be the last! Ann Rice books, Dracula, etc. They've been around for years! The Ann Rice craze was way crazier than Twilight! I lived in Louisiana and people would go to her house and leave Roses for Lestat and stuff! It was very strange! Those fans tried to actually live in that world!
