There is a smell that smells like sharpies/nail polish coming from the vents in

my house.? Apparently my father let someone, who doesn't usually clean our furnace, into our house today, and let him clean our furnace. It now smells of sharpies or nail polish and my whole family's eyes burn a little. Can someone help me out?
