Things that make you go GRRRRR.... (Part 2)

Great idea, but I can see a drawback. In order to be noticed you'd all need to pair up, with one of you sitting on the other's shoulders. Problem then is the protest would look as if there were only half as many of you.

That looks like a very light diet you have there. Even on the highest estimate of 2000cal you are under eating if you want to get stronger. *most* women's basal rate is around 1700-1800 cal a day if they are not training heavy, let alone an individual who probably has a greater muscle mass than average and trains heavy.

I'm about 5kg overweight though, with an unknown but presumed high bodyfat %. I'm the heaviest weight that I've ever knowingly been so this is now the primary goal. If my max strength gains are on hold then so be it.

My mind/self esteem are being stupid.

Dear self, stop feeling inferior because you don't look like Cyborg Santos. Remember not so long ago all you wanted was to not get vertigo every time you moved? Where did that gratitude go?

my BMI is 24.68 and weight 68kg so just within the scales of healthy weight but since mid teens I've been somewhere between 60-65kg though now it seems to be inching up, with a fairly inactive job if I didn't go to the gym it would be a lot worse.

I'm still being encouraged to participate in a powerlifting comp where the new weight divisions mean there isn't a 67kg, the nearest is 63kg then 72kg but for the latter I would expect to lift more.

It also makes me think the reason why I feel shoulder pain when doing rolls, particularly more diving rolls is because I have more weight and less strength, partly why I started trying to focus on strength gains. At least where I train the only women I've seen roll anywhere near properly all are quite thin/endomorphic

BMI is useless in itself, It doesn't allow for muscle mass. I'm just going by the video's you have posted up recently and i really don't think you need to worry about losing weight. Perhaps the skinnys that roll well are younger, more flexible or just have better technique.

Exactly. If you're lifting heavy then and building muscle mass your BMI is going to be towards the higher end of the spectrum, so I wouldn't worry about it
