I went paperless years ago and do all my billing and payment and banking online. Now that I'm currently in the process of collecting information for a marriage visa application, I need to have these bills.
"So, go online and print them out" I hear you cry... This was what I was planning on, but it seems that I need to have official company printed ones and no print off will do (as it's so easy to photoshop them these days - photoshop? I can't afford photoshop, I use MS Paint...)
Anyway, a quick squizz on the various websites reveals that I can get paper copies sent to me at a cost of £3.53 to £4 per statement!!! It will cost me around about £100 (providing HSBC don't charge me either) to get statement paper copies sent to me!!!
That'll teach me to go Green and think of the environment!!!
My employers deciding to make nearly 200 people redundant while at the same time hiring a new board member and paying him at least 100K a year. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Putting shopping in the car last night and having a gritting truck drive by flinging stuff at my face, then going round twice more to catch my mother and brother too.
Firstly, they charge me nearly £70 for a bunch of posies, then emailed me the day before they were meant to be delivered to say that their website doesn't support Chinese characters (despite there being a People's Republic of China section in there...), failed to respond to me email and then completely failed to deliver any flowers whatsoever.
According to their tracking service, it's still "being made up". Errrr, it's now nearly 10pm in Guangzhou, China, exactly what time of night were they expecting to deliver them..?
One angry email later, I've still not gotten a reply...
