Things that make you go GRRRRR.... (Part 2)

I hate when I am happily going about my business carrying my family's fuel home, and people feel the need to bother me about it.

Yeah, I'm weak. That's why I'm carrying this sack of coal behind my head using mainly my neck muscles to hold it up. Douchebag. You wouldn't talk like that to a male of my size so why do it to me? Why force in my face this idea that I'm reeeeaaally really weak....not just weaker than an average male, but so debilitated that I need help going about my life??

Where do you live? Dickensian London?
Carrying coal on your head/neck?

Maybe it was the fact you were carrying coal? Being a woman as you are some gentleman noticed you had clearly been unable to understand modern technologies and kindly decided to lend a helping hand. Which is a rare thing these days. Most of the time people don't care about people. They only care for their own.

I'm not really sure what I'm trying to say here. As men we're damned if we do and damned if we don't. Life is crap in general.

I understand technologies. I just chose to carry it behind my head. I wasn't having any difficulty. Seriously why the need to treat me as if I were disabled when I'm not?

That's kinda how I feel. If I asked a guy I'm sure some people would call me a bitch who only wants equality when it suits her.

Seriously. I wouldn't mind if it were occasional, but when everyone treats you like you are super weak and can't even be allowed to go about your own life without help (I'm some 52 kilograms at about 5'7, so people make that assumption a lot), it ceases to seem like caring and just gets on my nerves.

People make assumptions based on what they understand about the world. I've worn glasses since I was 5 years old and grown up with idiots assuming that I magically go totally blind and enter a world of darkness the second I take them off. Even though I can clearly see.

Now if you're smart you learn to take advantage of idiots. Or if you're carrying coal on your back you buy a trolly.

Lol, I prefer carrying it behind my head since it looks cooler. XD

Depends on how you're spreading the load. But I has an image in my head of you carrying a sack of coal slung over one shoulder. ... wearing a little cap, short trousers and no shoes

my own family does that to me. Anytime i trip or hit something they automatically say its because I didnt have my glasses on! FFS. I HATE THAT!

Yeah. I hate when someone takes one look at my less than Beth Ditto-esque frame and assumes that I'm weak as a dying moth...

I don't even look *that* slight for flip's sake...

After 18 months of back pain I have had the last three months pain free, then all of a sudden on Sunday my back goes again, I can hardly walk.
I am teaching a private lesson tonight, a class tomorrow, instructor training Thursday and a private lesson with GrandMaster Danny Guba on Saturday.

I've not quite sure how right now.

Grrrrr.

Always smiling.

Knocked down 7 times get up 8, thats me.

Only positive thoughts.
