All my water pipes are frozen. No neighbours affected so it will be me vs the housing soc 4 days before xmas. I expect with the above zero temperature that somewhere in my flat there'll be a leak tomorrow when I turn the water mains back on. Never experienced this before, a bit scared

My outside waste pipes to the main drain get frozen. I keep the heating on in the house all day to avoid the pipes getting frozen up.

I didn't think it was all that cold tbh. My boiler doesn't have a thermostat controller so I can only switch it on at 15 minute intervals with the 24 hour timer thingy. Would be very expensive given price of gas to keep it on all the time, but I think once this episode is over I may have to do something like that on the nights it gets below minus 3, given the inconvenience

Can only get it ordered online.
