Stupid head cold came back for revenge.

I guess grappling when you have just gotten over an infection is not the smartest decision.

Grrrrr another weekend, another attempt at getting motivated to do this PTLLS work. Don't wanna work over the weekend when there's a good chance that all hell will break loose at work this week

History coursework. I was told this was going to be about medieval stuff so I had pictures of knights and castles not the the success or failure of Marie De Medici's Regency in pre-revolutionary France.

And you definately don't make me do this after opening last year by teaching me the awesomeness that was henry II

Absolutely crap Chinese New Year celebrations yesterday, the rain just didn't let up apart from some icy blasts of wind to keep us on our toes.

The lion got heavier and heavier as it soaked up the rain and puddles of water. I slipped and slid all over the Chinese Association, and we had to cancel our kung fu demos. Not that the crowd would have minded... When I say crowd I mean the small gaggle of people who showed up in the torrential rains...

I'm still trying to get dry...

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

People, usually big guys, applauding me for being 'reeeeeaaally really strong' just because I can hold my head up without assistance. I do not want a pat on the head just for being stronger than a baby mouse with adrenal insufficiency. Urinate off.

Have you ever thought that it could be genuine praise?

Whatever it is, you need to let it go.

If I give you a glass of water will you find it heavy?

Does it become heavier if you hold it at arms length for an hour?

What about if you have to carry it around for a lifetime, does it become a massive burdon that holds you back?

Just asking.

LOL no, seriously, it's not. I don't obsess over it, I just find the idea that a woman who can so much as hold herself up is 'really strong' is insulting.

Foam rollering my Tensor Fascia Latae and Iliotibial Band! It didn't so much make me go GRRRRR, as made me go 'gosh darn it that smarts just a smidgeon' or words to that effect!
