Lost my first comp. Fight wasn't that bad all things considered since a few motnhs ago I was being tapped 8+ times a roll but what bugge me was after 5 minutes of being owned I leapt on the guys leg and had him set up for a single when they called time

Hard luck Lefty! Every one is an eye-opener and you'll take something good from it once the disappointment wears off a bit. Did you enjoy the day though?

Yeah definately! I was annoyed at not getting the chance to finish that takedown and at least end with some points but I'm happy with how I jumped on the opening and the guys from the club who went don't seem to be upset with how I did and my biggest fear was disappointing them.

Every 'failure' is a signpost on the road to success.

You may have lost the fight, but just getting into the ring and trying makes you a success.

This should have it's own thread. I reckon you should tell us how the fight went, move for move together with how you'd do it differently, in hindsight as it were. Then when the video gets posted you'll get even better feedback, maybe? Map's little guinea pig

Not a bad idea, I'll think about it.

New GRRR: I ordered a large pizza to treat myself but I don't like tomato sauce and instead of ticking no sauce I ticked no cheese. I have 8 slices of dough and tomato sauce in my lap
