Things that make you go GRRRRR.... (Part 2)

I have no idea! I don't think she eats any protein at all, heck she dosn't even eat stir fried veggies!

She thinks it's something in the british bread, because she does't have problems in Poland. I think she's a fruitcake - she's also painfully shy and has no self confidence and I'm getting to the stage where I babble about things just to make conversation! Aaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhhh, I need a steak!

Doesn't have to be a nightmare. I'm gluten and lactose intolerant too and I honestly don't notice most of the time. I eat anything I like just without the gluten or milk...Is it hard to get non gluten or non milk food where you are?

She doesn't really want to listen to my diet advice (which would be to go primal and eat meat and more fat). I'm not sure she's got any clue about good nutrition or even considered gluten/lactose free foods. Actually, it's working out ok for me, because I can pretty much eat what I want - lots of veggies, meat, fish, cheese and fewer carbs than I would have if we were sharing the cooking. The only real problem will be eating out (which we tried to do once a week when I was over here with someone else last year). I just feel like a total pig when we eat, she has 4 tomatoes and some mixed leaf salad and I eat a massive big bowl of veggies and protein. She doesn't even eat eggs and only seems to want boiled veggies!

Oh man i couldn't live wit a veggie biter like that. I'd go nuts. Especially if I had to eat the same meals. I mean I get the shakes and find small birds and animals an attractive proposition for a meal if I don't get some regular protein in my diet. Especially if they are still moving. That gets my attention.

How's Stockholm?

Tell me about it! We have to walk past a field with cows in it on the way to the train and all I can think as I look at their soft trusting faces is 'mmmmmmmmm, you'd be great with mushrooms and fried onions, or a yorkshire pudding, gravy and roasties'!

We've come to the decision that we're going to sort our own food out, but eating out is going to be a problem, unless I get her to order something I'd like and can have 2 dinners!

most supermarket bread (even the ones with their own bakery) just don't compare to the local baker, may seem expensive but for flavour and shelf life worth every penny. I also like to support my local high st shops.

there's a dozen or so red poll cows in Midsummer Common, some of them will be on sale in my local butcher later in the year. Surprisingly this has even got a mention in the Cambridge paper because they advertise, local produce, as seen grazing in the common. I don't know what's wrong with that. Where do some people think meat comes from?

I personally find this both disgusting and offensive.

Stilton sauce, pepper sauce or mustard are the correct accompaniements for beef which should always be served as steak.
