Things that make you go GRRRRR.... (Part 2)

Yes, I have some large gaviscon pills I got in chemist today. I think they're supposed to be sucked but all the instructions are in Swedish and I have got round to googling a translation yet!

unless the pills have improved I found only the liquid stuff works, I'd be running around like a headless chicken, what happened to those Swedish men, can't they help?

The really small pills I use back home work really well, and that's what I thought I was buying today (should've checked in the pack and asked the chemist for a translation!). As for the Swedish men, I think they're all out at the pub at the moment!

So men go to the pub no matter where they are from Why aren't you at the pub?

^ I still feel odd going to the pub on my own in the town I live, would only if there were others there I knew or it was a music venue

Have you any idea how much alcohol costs in Sweden?! It's gobsmackingly expensive! Besides I don't know where the pub is round here and my photosynthesising Polish friend doesn't drink - I say photosynthesising because there is absolutely no other way I can see that she can survive on the amount of calories she is consuming in the normal way!

I think you should spike her drink, when the confusion sets in get her blind drunk, then feed her a bacon sandwich.

Oh and hide her lentil soup.

ROTFLMAO!

Oooh, I nearly splurged green tea all over my keyboard at that!

I don't even think she eats lentils. I had a lovely ciabatta with cheese and reindeer salami for lunch, she had an apple! She doesn't even drink water during fieldwork!

HELP ME

What was it Su Lin said "never underestimate the theraputic powers of beating someone up".

Just say she got trampled by a Mouse on a field trip.

Wow. Sounds like you're having a whale of a time. Wish I was there. We'd go find the pub together

I'm guessing that along with the price difference there aren't pubs every few metres like some streets here, well, until they were closing at however many a week

I'm really weak tonight. I think I need to take some iron. I don't normally fail at 3 sets of weighted chinups (I was doing 5 x 5s)...Grrrr, I hate having a weak day, even though I know it will be temporary...

Blinking tidy, organised, city proud Swedes. They've pruned back half the trees we used for sampling last year, so I'm having to run round Stockholm to try to find replacement sites. It's discrimination I tell you! Discrimination against beetle collecting hobbits!

Oh and I hate the windy weather too! It is not doing my shoulder any good trying to hit beetles out of trees on to a large fabric beating tray in a gale!
