Things that make you go GRRRRR.... (Part 2)

Ankle's still not up to training and I really want to roll. On a less grrr note, my ankle can't take running and stuff so the warm ups out the question but would boxing put much strain on it? Problem with bjj is people landing on it but I see a lot less sweeps in boxing for some reason.

Damn. I don't have a gym membership and the stuff at the one I train at is mostly cardio like treadmills which I can't use. Some weight stuff but its a long uncomfortable walk just for 20 minutes of curls. Thanks for the reply though

We have a woman like that where I work. Totally clueless she is. Takes forever to explain anything. We need to go into every single little tiny minute detail. I feel for you harukoraharu ... has a hug

I felt bad for her because the other five there for the full day course were getting it and the pace was set by them, or it would have been, I had several uneasy long pauses.

I'm trying (and failing) to raise enthusiasm for going to a coffee shop gig tonight

Cool. You should go. It's hard dealing with people who are slow to catch on. But I don't think there's a whole lot you can do in that situation. Maybe think about ways of revisiting the same thing from different angles to break up the long uneasy pauses

You can't just grrrr because it's the grrrr thread! There has to be a reason.

Still got a bit of DOMS from the Kettlebell workout yesterday and I hope to get up early(ish) for a distance run before breakfast. Feel like I haven't done much today, posted a CD, bought some food, did some laundry and tidyed the flat, started watching 'This Life'. Was reminded it's four years since Sophie Lancaster was kicked to death for daring to be different.

I know what it is. FOD has moved into a new home, where the previous occupants had a small child.
Poor ol' FOD found a notch on the door saying "Jonathan aged 12", he never reached that notch.

Just got up to watch ufc and discovered about 6 fleas on my foot. Haven't had the cat in my room for weeks but the buggers won't get out of my bed

For some weird-ass reason, I'm stronger in some muscle groups but weaker than usual in others. Apparently my various muscle groups have been fighting over the available nutrients, and my lats and biceps won the argument while the 'pushing' ones lost...

don't you favour stuff like deadlifts and power cleans in your workouts? those are heavy pulling movements, so it stands to reason that they'll be a bit stronger...

more on topic: idiots make me go grrr. or, they would if i gave a chainsaw about them. way past caring enough about what other humans think for that to happen.

i'd tell you to push moar, but my train of thought immediately went to the "push! push!" of childbirth and i'm afraid you will kill me if i do

The hide in the mattress and the bed frame. In the wood work and all over. You'll need to get some spray and powder and cover everything. Wash all your clothes. Seriously the only way to get rid of them is to totally gut your room and then some.

You're quickly becoming my go to person for pests
my mum hoovered everything out and assured me that would work but obviously not. Excuse to go out tomorrow now
