Things that make you go GRRRRR.... (Part 2)

skin is finally peelingoff my arms from that sun burn.

Its a grrr cause my arms and neck still itch

Oooh! Take a tip from "blade baths" (i.e. liquid quenching during the tempering process), and make it an oil bath (seriously, add some mineral oil to your bathwater, it is dried out due to the sunburn after all).

Sod 'self defence'. What I want is training in ATTACK. I want to be able to run after somebody and beat them up.

Unless allergic, try to find one with Aloe Vera.

Erm... don't you mean "sunscreen" lotion. (preferably SPF 30 or greater)

Don't leak this info onto the DP thread, or you'll likely get labeled as a "vengeful sadist."

Oh, but I am a vengeful sadist. I'm also a bully, a liar and probably psychotic. Self-knowledge is a beautiful thing.

Well, FWIW, suntan lotion does nothing to block the harmful rays of the sun, which cause sunburn. Therefore, the best advice for precautionary measures, would be to use SUNSCREEN lotion.

One of the generic terms for sunscreen lotion is suntan lotion (or even sunscreen lotion), so I meant suntan lotion. They're both the same thing and for the record, I use factor 50 suntan lotion

Maybe it is called both where you're from, but not in my vicinity - and why I was so vehement in my insistence to differentiate the two.

How do you get sunburn in Canada?
What was blade even doing out of her anorak and mukluks?

It's probably not really sunburn, but rather windburn developed whilst racing her polar bear!

It doesn't actually need to be blisteringly hot to get sunburn. Just sunny. And well up there in the Arctic circle they have 24hrs of cold sunshine. And obviously being a vampire she's even more vulnerable

Our summers equal our winters, I don't need to explain how bad winter here is.
