Grrrr!
'Couriers' (and I use the term loosely) who refuse to deliver parcels (which they are paid to do) to my house, because 'allegedly' their small van will get stuck on the hill that is our driveway. The only time anything has ever got stuck on our driveway is when there is snow and ice covering it. We get oil tankers down regularly (we have oil central heating), postal delivery vans, the removal van had no problem when we moved in, I've driven my car (which at the time was a Citroen Visa with a 750cc engine) fully loaded with all my stuff when I was going to uni up the hill with no problem. But no, these 2 can't get their poxy little van down here! And to add insult to injury when I walked all the way up the driveway to collect the stupid parcel, she had the cheek to say that at least they were 'meeting me halfway' by parking on the road and leaving the parcel on the pavement. Stupid so and so. If she hasn't got the equipment suitable to deliver to houses on her route, she shouldn't be delivering on this route! Grrrrrr!
