Things that make you go GRRRRR.... (Part 2)

Can you really trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die? I don't know the answer, but I am cautiously skeptical...

Microlamia.... uhh... it's not news and what's more there really isn't a valid reason for you to crassly go on about your menstrual cycle. No one wants to know and no one cares.[/COLOR]

Isn't this thread basically full of stuff no one cares about? Its a place to complain, not stimulate great conversation.

You can moan all you want. MAP hardly needs to know about Microlame's menstrual issues - if that's your thing you can PM her.

I don't care what you like or don't like. If you want to get your whine one hit your report post button you crybaby.

Thread locked until the MOD team reviews the last page and a half of posts.

Ok...

I have cleaned up some of this thread. The involved parties know about it, so let's all move on as friends to pastures new.

That being said - can I remind everyone that MAP is a family friendly site and to think twice before posting if something could be considered close to the bone by enough people - this latest issue being case in point.

This thread is here for people to vent. But that doesn't mean it doesn't get modded from time to time. We might all be sat behind computers, which gives us some lovely anonymity, but would we really speak like this down the pub, say, to such a varied audience?

Please remember that MAP's membership and readership (guests can read these too) extends further than your friendship group.

this article started with some really good stuff, i was interested and it made me think about my own nutrition.
then it became a shameless plug for indigo.

also i'm pretty sure you could replicate those effects with 3-600mg of ALA a day for about 10% of the cost.

That's one of my big grumbles with T-nation! They have some excellent writers and articles, but often ruin them with the shameless Biotest plug. It's never 'take fish oil', it's always 'take Flameout'! I understand that they're a sponsored site, but sometimes it just irritates me intensely!

Got ya. Sorry again about the ooky post btw. I was going on things I saw others post before which didn't get modded so I assumed that subject was okay.

Thanks for the PM.

Somehow I got debating today about gay marriage with a friend, who during the course of proceedings made it clear that he doesn't think homosexuality is "normal" (if there was a factory that made humans, he said, gays would be considered broken, rejects, and discarded :|)

Luckily for him in my indecision to throw up or break his legs, I did neither. But to think that someone who I've known for 23 years, who's known I'm bisexual for the last 11, would say to my face that heterosexuals are natural and nothing else is... fries my brain in a profound way :|

UGH. Sorry to hear this, that sucks.

He's also grossly ignorant. If he wants to use the 'natural' argument...he has no legs to stand on. I mean plenty of animal species show homosexual behaviours sometimes...

I had one like that late last year. I had a friend who I lost touch with. Ex-infantryman, really good friend. I really respected him.

When I finally got hold of him again the first thing he did was hit on me. Then he shared around an article about how women were the oppressors blah blah blah and men were soooo downtrodden. As someone from a country where abortion is illegal even if someone is suicidal this enraged the hell outta me.

I don't keep contact with him any more...

Sucks on both counts to find out your friends aren't what you thought they were, especially after knowing him so long Hatamoto, I can't imagine why he thought that was cool.

What he believes doesn't matter really, but if he looks down on me for who I am I'll be forced to break his legs and set him on fire, and remove him from my life, coz who needs that kind of BS in their triangle of friends? :/
