Things that make you go GRRRRR.... (Part 2)

guys doing clean and presses right next to where i was deadlifting, with an entire wall of mirrors to let them see, and who still nearly took my head off cleaning the ing bar while i was changing my plates. and they also tool weights out of the rack i was using, even though they took the barbell from the adjacent bench (which had its own plates). i swear i wanted to roundhouse kick the guy in the spine in mid power clean ಠ_ಠ.

^ I get that at my gym too. People changing plates literally don't see someone doing another lift an inch away. I would not be that rude, but after would want to take their head off. Most gyms just have too little space if adjacent platforms are in use by a group

there are no platforms at my gym. they also didn't let me pass around the flipping rack to get more plates, resulting in me having to step over the safety pins to do it. if i actually gave an anti-gravitational fornication about the mere fact that they exist, i would have started swearing at them there and then. they, however, are too inconsequential for me to acknowledge with anything other than annoyance for nearly hitting me with a loaded barbell.

My family take the piss. My brother knows I recently spent the entire night throwing up. He also knows his smoking makes me cough. I asked him not to make me cough lest I throw up. I just went downstairs and it's as if he's been chainsmoking the past few hours to spite me. hes also left not long before my mother is due home with a load of shopping. And he left a jar of apple sauce in the kitchen with the lid off :| What's WRONG with the boy? I want to hit him in the head with a TV. And not a modern slimline thing. :P

Teens with fallacious thinking. Damn them.

Apperantly after a brief 5 minute argument their only rational solution is suicide.
Or being "bullied" for a year or two entitles them to moan, complain, and essentially whine about life.

I have friends that I know that have gone through so, so much pain, but they have the bravery to smile and keep walking forwards. Heck, I myself have gone through enough crap to last a lifetime and more.

Life isn't some Romeo and Juliet play. To quote Rocky:
"Life isn't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very cruel and harsh place, and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it".

Grow up and open your eyes, seriously.

Grrr stupid Windows 7 VM is complaining it needs to be reactivated because it has detected a change in hardware or "hardware drivers". For the record the change it has detected is a hard drive plugged into an external USB caddy. I needed to run chkdsk on it and the recovery console on the Windows disc wouldn't touch it because it was in a "RAW state".

I shudder to think what an actual proper kill switch in Windows 8 will do.

Rant over ... for now.

I hate Los Angeles radio stations. You'd think we'd have the best stations being that this is the entertainment center of the country, but no, my wife and friends and I all agree that we have to constantly change stations to get good songs.
This is so stupid and annoying! And doubly so for the lack of a Blues station!
God bless iTunes and other methods of streaming music!

^ bad luck but best to let these things properly heal. i remember injuries from kungfu when i was 15 took ages because i didn't have access to good information, if i could go back in time would so do some things differently

Haha, yeah, fair enough point there. I just feel crushed I guess because I came in with the expectation of going back to MA as soon as the doctor declared me healed. Ah well.....

ohh god it sucked.

glass collector had to go home and as the only other bloke in the building i had to take over. so there i was, glass collecting. GGRRRR

Look on the bright side, you weren't picking glass out of anyone's face. There are less pleasant jobs
