Things that make you go GRRRRR.... (Part 2)

My school has a lot of racism towards white people. I hate racism. I hate NE Calgary.

Hey, at least you don't have some ginger making squinty eyed jokes around you all time....

(We know each other real life )

I don't trust Specsavers with my prescription! The frames I bought were only about £70, but the complex lenses I need (Zeiss, ultrathin glass, special coated etc) are what bumps up the price of mine. The NHS generously gives me free eye tests and a £10 voucher off my glasses!

expected daytime temperature tomorrow is a mere 8C, not so much GRRRRR as BRRRRR

I don't get a voucher! I do get a free sight test though. Specsavers would have charged me £37 otherwise. My frames cost £125 and £99. Since it's two for one I got the cheaper pair free. I still had to pay for the lenses though. Which is a bit of a rip-off. Who buys frames with no lenses? I can't remember the make of their ultra thin lenses. But they're not Zeiss. Which is what I have now.

I got my current glasses from Vision Express. Their sight test was absolute torture. I've been wearing glasses all my life and never experienced anything like it. Not even in the eye hospital when they were correcting my astigmatism which left me with squinty eye that needed to be fix. So it goes without saying I'll never go back to them and my original optician I had been going to my entire life closed. I'm in limbo. Time to shop around for new eyes.

Yep, you and me both need new eyeballs!

I also have a family history of glaucoma, so I always get tested for that!

One advantage of me being small (but perfectly formed) is that I can buy kiddies frames - which are actually better for holding my lenses anyway.

Oh No! More nightmares for me tonight!

I realized teaching kids math is really hard....

I now realize that my math teachers in 1-6 grade were all the Mr.Miyagi of Math.

They were Mr. Mathagi.

Edit: I'm sitting in my room shirtless. Its sunny and hot as crap outside. But its finally gotten dry. =D

Got a puncture on the way to work today. Which made me 15 minutes late. And now my pump has just broken. ...
