Things that make you go GRRRRR.... (Part 2)

Getting even more cheesed off with working with my friend. She's a miserable, whiny so and so. She's so twofaced about the people she works with. One minute they're all lovely people and the next she's bitching about them for asking her to do things she's paid to do. She never takes any responsibility for things that she hasn't done, always passes it off as someone else's fault for not remembering, but I know for a fact that most of these are things she has forgotten to tell the relevant people about!

She makes no effort to work pleasantly with the rest of the group and actually refused to come to a meeting this morning!

She'll probably get away with it because her line manager is away and she pulled the 'I'm just back from holiday and have far more important things to do' card. I'm pretty sure the real reason is that she doesn't like the lady who was running the meeting.

The way she's talking, you'd think none of us did any work whilst she was a way and that she's the only one in the department with important stuff to do.

Just been rudely awoken by three blokes doing Aikido in the park!

I'M NAPPING HERE PEOPLE! Go "hai" Somewhere else and stop hitting that lamppost! It will win!

*grumbles about martial artists*

I'm eyeing up the carton of mini-rocky road snacks that are on the table in the corner right now...

What can I say on a more serious note, I can barely pick up a glass let alone a weight so knocked any gym time on the head, thought I might get that chance of the next kyu grade, why do injuries always prevent me from getting better. This is why doing MA when older is almost pointless, if I was twenty something I'd just tape it up and be in class the next day

People who steal trolleys.

I dont know how it works in the USA, but here in the UK you often have to put a pound coin in a trolley before you can take it.

Today I left my trolley to walk down another aisle (literately for 30 seconds) I came back and it was gone...

I walked all around and couldn't find it, so then I started to look trolley thief's....

I spotted lady with a shopping basket in her trolley... hmm, suspicious...

I asked her if she had 'found' the trolley and she said 'oh yes, sorry is it yours?'

Damned right it was mine, and she SAW me looking all over the place and never owned up before I confronted her.

Some people...

It's not pointless. It's just that they lied when they said it would help you stay fit and healthy.

Hope it feels better soon.

^ Is that a dry plain Moi?

Hand Update: I went to Judo yesterday but left after 20 minutes in tears. Warmup was okay (uptoapoint) I don't see the point in doing things like pushups in class, people can work on things like interval fitness in their own time, mat time and partner work time is a premium that shouldn't really be wasted since neither can really be done at home or at the gym on your own. I was stuck with the heaviest guy in class for newaza, considering I couldn't really use my left my coordination was badly affected and could only foresee being more injured, and sure enough after trying a turnover and having it done on me just the slightest pressure on my hand thumbside with 100+ kilos on the same shoulder and I screamed out. A bit embarrassing. I might be out for a month and will miss the last ever class at Fenners before it closes down at end of July. Miffed at myself, the person who injured me on Thurs, and more on Sat (that seemed to be waiting to happen), and any chance of the next kyu grade before next bunch of beginners start. If/when I go back I will be taking no prisoners.
